TYT newscast - Lesbian Couple Arrested For Kissing In Public

Kissing Lesbians Win Lawsuit

Two women who were vacationing in Hawaii and went shopping at Foodland and at one point one of the girls gave a hug and a kiss to her girlfriend. An off duty cop was shopping in the store and he witnessed the kiss and he grabbed and shoved one of the women to stop them and a fight broke and he beat up one of the women splitting her nose open and arrested them both.

The two women were arrested and charged with assaulting an officer. Total bail cost $24,000. They weren't allowed to leave the island and eventually resorted to sleeping in a park. The charges against the women were eventually dropped. The couple have filed a lawsuit against the police.

Foodland later apologized to the couple, and the Honolulu Police Department has now opened an investigation in response to their lawsuit.

Foodland paid the couple $10,000, and the city of Honolulu paid the couple $80,000. The police dropped all charges against the women.

ANALYSIS OF THE VICTIMS ACTIONS:

Did the victims harm, steal, or threaten anyone by kissing? No
Did the victims violate anyone's individual rights by kissing? No
Was the interaction between the victims and the cop voluntary? No

The victim committed no crime.

ANALYSIS OF THE POLICE ACTIONS:

Did the cop harm, steal, or threaten the victim? Yes
Did the cop violate the victims individual rights? Yes

The cop's behavior is criminal and he violated the victims rights.

ANALYSIS:

If someone walks over to a cop and grabs him and shoves him, you will get arrested for assaulting an officer, because it is wrong to assault people. Now this off duty officer assaults this couple for kissing, which is not a crime. I think this was done because there gay and my guess is he finds it offensive and that is why he assaulted them. This is really a case of gay bashing. The only person who committed a crime here was the off duty officer who assaulted and then arrested (kidnapped) the couple.

The sad thing is that there is no accountability for the police here. The police commits a crime and the taxpayers get stuck paying the women $80,000 for crimes the police committed. Foodland ends up paying $10,000. The gay bashing police does not have to pay a penny and taxpayers are still paying his salary. He is a criminal and he should have been fired and sent to prison. Giving criminals a badge and a gun is a recipe for disaster for our freedom.

DECLARATION OF FREEDOM:

- All people are born free, created equal, and own themselves.
- We have the right to defend our life, liberty, and property.
- We never have an obligation to let anyone commit aggression against us.
- We never have an obligation to let anyone violate our freedom.

INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS - are rights all humans have and no one can legally take away from us.

- The right to free speech - I can communicate my opinions and ideas without fear of retaliation or censorship.
- The right to liberty - I can do what I want, as long as I do not violate the freedom of others.
- The right to self-defense - I can defend my life, liberty, and property.
- The right to privacy - No one has the right to violate my privacy.

LIBERTY IS NOT A BATTLE:

Liberty is not a battle that requires the conversion of others in order to win.
Liberty is won when you accept the fact that you own yourself, that you have individual rights, and no one has the right to violate your rights.
When you accept that you are liberated.

NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO:

No one has the right to harm you.
No one has the right to threaten you.
No one has the right to steal from you.
No one has the right to violate your rights.

FREEDOM:

Freedom is the ability to exercise your will within your individual rights without the threat of force from anyone else.

If somebody is forcing their will on us, clearly, we are not free. A violation of freedom is an attack on a person by harming them, stealing from them, threatening them, or violating there individual rights. Freedom is not just an ideal state of society, but a moral code for respecting the individual rights of others.

Because you own yourself, it is wrong for someone to initiate force against you or your property. Acceptance of this simple fact is the foundation of a free and peaceful society. This universal nonaggression principle applies to everyone, and it is therefore wrong for someone to harm you, steal from you, threaten you, or violate your individual rights.

Freedom - Adam Kokesh

INTERACTIONS BETWEEN PEOPLE:

Should interactions between people be voluntary?
Should interactions between people be free of force, fraud, and threats?

VICTIMLESS CRIMES:

Every time government enforces a law without a victim, the person getting arrested is the victim. If there is no victim, there is no crime. When governments punish someone for a victimless crime, they also punish society by forcing them to pay for it. If we support victimless crime laws, we are just as responsible as if we had hired someone to rob or kidnap on our behalf.

Freedom - Adam Kokesh

WHAT IS MORE DANGEROUS:

Has government killed or imprisoned millions of people for victimless crimes?
What is more dangerous, freedom or a government that has authority over you?
Is government the biggest threat to our freedom?

TYRANNY:

When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government. - Thomas Jefferson

When government takes away citizens right to bear arms it becomes the citizens duty to take away the governments right to govern. - George Washington

GOVERNMENT IS:

Government is control by force. The authority claimed by governments is unique because it is considered a license to use force against peaceful people. People claim it is acceptable for government to do things that an individual would never be allowed to do. This is why governments come up with special words to obscure what they are really doing. War is mass murder. Law enforcement is violence. Taxation is theft. Inflation is theft. Civil forfeiture is theft. Even when government gives money to someone in need it must first steal that money from someone else. No one has the right to control others by force, even if they claim to have the majority behind them.

LAW ENFORCEMENT:

Law enforcement is paid with the money that is stolen from you in the form of taxes, fines, and civil forfeiture. The relationship between law enforcement and the people is really like the relationship between a criminal and his victim. Criminals do not respect there victims. If they have no respect for you they also have no respect for your individual rights and this is why they have no problem violating your individual rights. It is a crime to violate your individual rights. A person who violates your individual rights is a criminal.

Our government has been stealing from us and disarming us and it will only get worse as time goes on. Over time government will lose more and more respect for the people and we will be in greater danger and the people will be less able to defend themselves. People wonder why law enforcement acts the way they act. They are enforcers for a criminal organization. How would you expect them to act?

ASSAULT:

Assault - physically attacking another person or threatening them with a weapon.
Is it wrong when someone assaults an innocent person?
If something is wrong for a individual to do, should it also be wrong for the government to do?
Is it fair to say, wrong is wrong, no matter who does it?

HARASSMENT:

Harassment - behavior which appears to be disturbing or threatening.
Is it wrong when someone harasses an innocent person?
If something is wrong for a individual to do, should it also be wrong for the government to do?
Is it fair to say, wrong is wrong, no matter who does it?

GOVERNMENTS DUTY:

To help secure our individual rights, governments may be created, deriving their powers from the consent of the governed.

CITIZENS DUTY:

When government violates our individual rights it becomes the citizens duty to take away the governments right to govern.

WRONG IS WRONG, NO MATTER WHO DOES IT:

People have the irrational belief that government is allowed to do things that you can't. So the resistance in peoples minds is turned off and they think government authority is OK, logical, and reasonable. But if people would examine the cause and effect of what is really happening. They would say it is logical to resist someone who wants to harm you, steal from you, threaten you, or violate your rights.

No matter how government employees are selected they are only human beings and they have no rights or claims that are higher then those of any other human. No one has the right to harm you, steal from you, threaten you, or violate your rights. We can not give people any rights that we do not have ourselves. Government should never be able to do anything you can't do. If something is wrong for you to do, it should also be wrong for government to do. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it.

WHAT RIGHTS CAN GOVERNMENT HAVE:

Can you delegate to another human being a right that you do not have?
Can two people delegate a right to a human being that neither of them have?
Can seven million people delegate a right to a human being that none of them have?
Can someone delegate the right to steal my money to government?
Can seven million people delegate to government the right to steal my money?
Can anyone in government have a right that I do not have?

THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE:

The great government lie is that it exists for the good of its victims. To obscure the truth, governments go to great lengths with propaganda intended to change the way we think and thus how we act. The greatest measure of what governments are capable of with propaganda is how much they have convinced us to identify with them so that anyone who challenges their power is seen as an enemy of the people. The most potent weapon in the hand of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed.

A government that violates your rights and commits theft, extortion, and violence, is a criminal organization. Once people realize that. They can rid themselves of the belief that they have an obligation to obey government. Then you can have free people who can decide for themselves what they can do.

Freedom - Adam Kokesh

DOES GOVERNMENT PROTECT OUR INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS:

Should government create laws that violate our individual rights?
Should government violate our individual rights?
Should police enforce laws that violate our individual rights?
Is government the biggest violator of our individual rights?

THE FREEDOM SOLUTION:

There are two kinds of people. People who prefer big government (statists) and people who prefer freedom. Statists want government to have a great deal of power over the economy and individual behavior. People who prefer freedom, want to have a great deal of control over there own lives.

We should just let each group live the way they want too. If your a person who prefers statism then you can have all the government you want, as long as you do not violate the rights of others. If your a person who prefers freedom then you can have all the freedom you want, as long as you do not violate the rights of others.

Freedom means that people get to decide for themselves how they want to live.

SHOULD PEOPLE:

Should people respect your individual rights?
Should you respect the rights of others?
Do people have the right to defend their life, liberty, and property?

THE PRICE OF FREEDOM:

Life is better with freedom. Our freedom is based on the individual rights that all people have. The best way to ensure respect for our individual rights is to respect the individual rights of others. It is our duty as human beings to not only defend our individual rights but to also defend the individual rights of others. By defending the individual rights of others your helping to protect your own individual rights. It is important to defend our individual rights because that is how we protect our freedom.

There will always be people who try to violate our individual rights. To remain free we have to be willing to fight for our rights. That is the price of freedom.

IF WE DO NOT DEFEND OUR RIGHTS:

If we do not defend our individual rights, could we end up losing our individual rights?
If we lose our rights, do we also lose our freedom?
If we lose our freedom, are we just tax slaves?

THE REVOLUTION CONTINUES:

The Declaration of Independence condemned authoritarian power and empowered the individual. It argued that all people were created equal. That all people have individual rights. That our individual rights can not be taken away from us. That the main purpose of government was to help secure our individual rights. That government power came from the consent of the governed. That government could not tax us without our consent. When government violates our individual rights it becomes the citizens duty to take away the governments right to govern.

But the revolution is not over. As long as some people claim the right to rule and others claim the right to be free, the revolution will continue. Final victory comes when people embrace the principles of true equality, non-aggression, self-ownership, and voluntarism. That is when people will truly be ready to be free.

The Revolution Continues

FREEDOM OR TYRANNY:

If people live their lives and do not infringe on the rights of others, we have no need for government at all. Sure people will say "but without government who would ....". That is like saying, "if we free the slaves, where would they live and what would they do for a living?" Would they be better off out from under the slave masters yoke and determine that later. If you always say "who would ...", you will never attain true freedom. Freedom is scary as it is uncertain. I'll take uncertainty and self-determination over government tyranny any day.

THE FIGHT FOR FREEDOM NEVER ENDS:

Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction.
It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation.
- Ronald Reagan
