Freedom Matters
DECLARATION OF FREEDOM:
All people are born free, created equal, and own themselves. We own ourselves therefore we have individual rights. Some of our individual rights are the right to free speech, the right to defend ourselves, the right to privacy, and the right to liberty. Individual rights are rights that we are born with and no one can take away from us.
SELF-OWNERSHIP:
Because I own myself I get to decide how I live my life and spend my money.
THE RIGHT TO LIBERTY:
Liberty is freedom from permission. I can do what I want, as long as I do not violate the freedom of others.
VOLUNTARYISM:
Interactions between people should be voluntary and free of force, fraud, theft, and threats.
NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO VIOLATE MY FREEDOM:
No one has the right to harm me, threaten me, or steal from me.
THE PRICE OF FREEDOM:
There will always be people who try to violate our freedom. To remain free we have to be willing and able to defend our freedom.
