Freedom Matters
One cannot change reality by changing the words you use to describe reality. Look beneath the rhetoric, and glimpse the truth.
DECLARATION OF FREEDOM:
- I own myself.
- I never have an obligation to let anyone violate my freedom.
- I never have an obligation to let anyone commit aggression against me.
- Interactions between people should be voluntary and free of force, fraud, and threats.
SELF-OWNERSHIP:
If I own myself, I'm free, therefore I get to live my life and spend my money how I choose.
FREEDOM:
I can do what I want, as long as I do not violate the freedom of others.
NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO VIOLATE MY FREEDOM:
- No one has the right to harm me.
- No one has the right to threaten me.
- No one has the right to steal from me.
NON-AGGRESSION PRINCIPLE (NAP):
Initiating force or fraud against another is wrong and that the use of force is only justified when used in defense of aggression.
THE PRICE OF FREEDOM:
There will always be people who try to violate our freedom. To remain free we have to be willing and able to defend our freedom.
