Life is better with freedom

How Big Should Government Be?

As government gets bigger so will corruption. Power and money breed corruption. People in government will sell government influence for personal and political gain. People outside of government will seek to buy influence and favors from government.

As government increases then individual liberty decreases. The more control government has over people's lives the less liberty you will have.

Countries with ever-expanding governments will collapse economically. It becomes sort of a ponzi or pyramid scheme. A growing government needs to take more and more money from the few who work to pay for those who don't work and the ever increasing government workers.

In order to pay for a ever-expanding government taxes are constantly increased. It could get to a point where many tax payers may decide to stop working, work less, hire fewer people, or move there business.

Big government produces big deficits and ever-increasing and ultimately unsustainable debt.

The bigger the government, the greater the opportunities for doing great evil. A individual can only do so much harm. A big government can do a lot more harm. When evil people take control of a big government the evil they can do is almost unlimited.

MY ANALYSIS ON HOW BIG GOVERNMENT SHOULD BE:

The main problem I have with our government is that I am against theft and robbery. If someone takes your money without your consent it is theft. If someone takes your money without your consent and calls it taxes, it is still theft. A government that supports itself thru theft and robbery is really a criminal organization.

So I am not really against government healthcare, government education, government garbage collection. I am mainly against the fact that the money to pay for this stuff is stolen from people without there consent. So it is not a true government we are dealing with rather it is a criminal organization and that is mainly what i am against.

So how big should government be? Government should only spend money that people freely give them. That's how big government should be.

THE PROBLEM WITH BIG GOVERNMENT:

People say they want government to make things fair and equal and to protect them. Government always creates a massive power imbalance where a handful of people have power, control, and money. Everyone else is forced to obey and fund the ruling class or be fined, caged, or killed if you resist them.

Politicians are masters at using fear to pit different groups against each other until the people are begging for more laws and regulations. Those in power tell us what we should worry about, what we should fear. There solution is more government power, more control, more laws, more wars, more regulations, more people in prison, and less freedom for you.

By dividing people into different groups like democrats and republicans, rich and poor, young and old, black and white, etc... The people can be tricked into being angry at each other. While politicians on both sides benefit. People don't realize that all politicians agree that they should take your money and control your life. Politicians use the tactic of divide and conquer to keep the people at war with each other. So we do not identify the real root of the problem. Which is government and the politicians who seek to rule and rob us.

Politicians try to make it seem like there only here to serve you. But when it comes down to it, everyone knows what will happen to you if you do not pay there taxes or obey there laws. The situation really is rulers and subjects, masters and slaves. Free people don't need rulers or masters to tell them what to do. Free people do not need to be ruled. Free people are allowed to think for themselves and make there own decisions and are responsible for there own actions, good or bad.

Big government does not come about by power hungry people talking about there evil intentions. Big government comes about by power hungry people faking good intentions and winning the loyalty of good people. Then the people let these politicians create laws, rules, and regulations that they are forced to obey and the people end up losing there freedom piece by piece under the guise that is good for them. Until every industry and activity is monitored, taxed, regulated, and restricted in the name of law. Making the people unable to provide for themselves, unable to be independent, unable to be self-suffient, unable to protect themselves, and unable to trade freely with each other however they see fit.

The primary problem is not that man is inherently evil. It is that so many people are willing to tolerate, advocate, or commit violent aggression when it is done under the name of government or law. Even most good people will comply because they imagine that they have an obligation to obey government. When oppression is legalized the proud law abiding tax payers will not only tolerate it, but will fund it, condone it, and vote for it. Government only has power, wealth, and influence because the people give it to them. Stop giving it to them.

The Problem

THE DEMOCRACY SCAM:

In 1776 the founding fathers of the United States of America told the government that we are not going to obey you, pay your taxes, or do what you say. The founding fathers were considered to be criminals, traitors, and terrorists by the government back then. But today everybody cheers them for doing it and celebrates Independence day on July 4. But if people did that today, they would be treated as a dangerous lunatic and locked up.

People today imagine they have an obligation to obey government. This seems to work on most people because they do not realize how unfree they really are. The people are taught the lie that we are given the right to vote so whatever government does to you, it is really you doing it to yourself. Government tries to make this look like you have given your consent when you didn't.

The government keeps taking there money and keeps telling them what to do. They are duped into believing that they are free because they can vote and that is not what freedom is. You can vote between two people who are going to rob you and just because you get to vote for who robs you does not mean your free.

People need to realize that government does not have the right to rule. Victims of this gang called the government imagine an obligation to obey it. Government is an entity that is imagined to have the right to do things that individuals do not have the right to do. Such as steal and they call it taxation. Such as initiating violence and calling it law enforcement. Such as committing murder and calling it national defense.

Democracy is a lie given to people to trick them into believing that they have power when they don't. People have been taught to feel empowered by getting to vote for who is going to be the person robbing them. This does not empower you it empowers your new masters. Democracy is a game, a show that our government puts on so we do not have another revolution and it works. We timidly do what we are told and every four years we push a button to vote for who is going to rob us and nothing changes.

After four years people usually get fed up with the people they elected to rob them. Another guy comes along promising hope and change. So they vote for the new guy to rob them but nothing really changes. You still end up with a government that is stealing your money and telling you what you can do. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Some people may get angry when you talk about democracy being a scam because they see that as attacking freedom or there country. But it is important to not be so blinded by your patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it. Democracy is like a slave who refuses to rebel because he does not think he is a slave.

Why not vote for freedom for a change by not electing anyone to rule and rob us. But this idea is just too radical for some people to consider. They have been so indoctrinated there whole life into believing that they need a government to take there money and tell them what to do. It is hard for them to consider the possibility that they should be free to live there life as they see fit.

COGNITIVE DISSONANCE:

Sometimes people hold a core belief that is very strong. When they are presented with the evidence that works against that belief, the new evidence cannot be accepted. It would create a feeling that is extremely uncomfortable, called cognitive dissonance. And because it is so important to protect the core belief, they will rationalize, ignore and even deny anything that does not fit with the core belief.
- Frantz Fanon

TAXATION IS THEFT:

You own yourself. No one has the right to take your money without your consent. If someone takes your money without your consent, it is theft. Taxation without our consent is theft. The money we earn with our time and effort is our money. To steal the money that I earned, is to steal my time and my effort. Which is the same as stealing part of my life. To steal part of my life is slavery. Taxation without our consent violates our right to self-ownership.

Imagine getting a bill from a private business. For services you never asked for and may have never wanted. Imagine that if you do not pay whatever price this business decides. They can empty out your bank account, seize your assets, and throw you in prison. Now if any private business tried to do something like that they can end up going to prison because that would be theft. But for some reason if the government does the same exact thing. It is OK and it is called taxation.

Taxation deprives people of the money they earned, stealing there buying power, reducing there ability to provide for themselves and there families, and making them less able to support things that they care about. Taxation also forces people to fund things that go against there wishes. That conflict with there own values.

Government does not produce any wealth. What it spends it must first steal from the productive people through taxation, fines, civil forfeiture, or the hidden tax known as inflation. Your forced to pay for everything government spends money on, including the IRS agents that are robbing us.

Everything of value is created by the productive people and the political class can only steal and destroy. In short the good people have always supported the evil people and will continue to do so as long as they believe that they have an obligation to obey these crooks.

Taxation is no different then a mafia protection racket. Where that gang claims to be protecting you but that same gang will harm you if you do not pay up.

Politicians pretend to be serving you and representing you. But the politicians true attitude is obvious. They don't care what you want and they believe that they have more of a right then you on how the money you earn should be spent.

By portraying mass robbery (taxation) as the people paying there fair share of the cost of society. Thieves who have legalized there theft, can convince there victims to be proud of having been robbed and to resent anyone who was not robbed. This is just another example of how politicians use the tactic of divide and conquer to keep the people at war with each other. So they do not identify the real root of the problem. Which is government and the politicians who seek to rule and rob us.

Good Funding Evil

THEFT AND ROBBERY:

Is it wrong if someone takes your money or property without your permission or consent (Theft)?
Is it wrong if someone is taking or attempting to take your money or property by force, threat of force, or by putting the victim in fear (Robbery)?
If something is wrong for a individual to do, should it also be wrong for the government to do?
Is it fair to say, wrong is wrong, no matter who does it?

YOUR THE VICTIM OF A ROBBERY!!!

Should it make a difference what color the robbers skin is?
Should it make a difference if the robbers are employed or unemployed?
Should it make a difference if the robbers are employed by the government?
Should it make a difference if the robbers are tax collectors?
Is it fair to say, wrong is wrong, no matter who does it?

MESSAGE TO THE VOTING CATTLE:

It is hard to imagine the way the world is really the opposite of what you have been taught to believe. Government has people thrown in prison for refusing to murder innocent people and call it war. You have people, treated like criminals and sentenced to prison for trying not to be robbed by government, which is called taxation. While you see the politician who gives away the stolen money to himself and others in the name of government, as a saint.

Most people believe it is wrong to steal, but seem to think it is OK if government steals and calls it taxation. Most people believe it is wrong to murder, but seem to think it is OK if government murders and calls it war. Now if you voted for these people, are they not committing these crimes with your consent. If it is wrong for you to steal and murder, why is it not wrong when you vote for someone to steal or murder for you. If it is wrong for you to do as an individual, it is wrong for government to do.

People are taught that certain people have the right to rule you. But no one has a moral obligation to obey anyone who harms you, steals from you, threatens you, or violates your rights. People need to think for themselves. It is never OK to do something wrong just because someone in authority told you too. You can't use the excuse I was just following orders or it's the law. Your responsible for your own actions. We can do as we please within our rights, as long as we do not violate the rights of others.

The people that deserve respect are the people who work for a living. Not the politicians who earn there money by stealing money from people with real jobs. Politicians are parasites living off your hard work. They are no better then muggers, pickpockets, or car jackers. In a way they are worse because where a regular criminal may rob you once. A politician will continue to rob you for your whole life. Some people refer to these people as leaders. Where do you think your going that will require you to have a leader?

If you live your own life, mind your own business, use your own talents, pursue your own dreams, and strive to be what you should be. What possible use do you have for a leader. What would make you think that you should follow these crooks. If people live their lives and don't infringe on the rights of others, we have no need for government at all. Most of the people who violate your rights are these so called leaders. The old definition of crime was an act harmful to another person. Today a crime is whatever government says it is and it usually benefits them. The only obligation you have is to do what you think is right. Not what some political crook tells you to do.

Message to the Voting Cattle - Larken Rose

WRONG IS WRONG, NO MATTER WHO DOES IT:

People have the irrational belief that government is allowed to do things that you can't. So the resistance in peoples minds is turned off and they think government authority is OK, logical, and reasonable. But if people would examine the cause and effect of what is really happening. They would say it is logical to resist someone who wants to harm you, steal from you, threaten you, or violate your rights.

No matter how government employees are selected they are only human beings and they have no rights or claims that are higher then those of any other human. No one has the right to harm you, steal from you, threaten you, or violate your rights. We can not give people any rights that we do not have ourselves. Government should never be able to do anything you can't do. If something is wrong for you to do, it should also be wrong for government to do. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it.

THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE:

The great government lie is that it exists for the good of its victims. To obscure the truth, governments go to great lengths with propaganda intended to change the way we think and thus how we act. The greatest measure of what governments are capable of with propaganda is how much they have convinced us to identify with them so that anyone who challenges their power is seen as an enemy of the people. The most potent weapon in the hand of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed.

A government that violates your rights and commits theft, extortion, and violence, is a criminal organization. Once people realize that. They can rid themselves of the belief that they have an obligation to obey government. Then you can have free people who can decide for themselves what they can do.

Freedom - Adam Kokesh

TYRANNY:

When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
- Thomas Jefferson

DEMOCRACY VS FREEDOM:

Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch. Freedom is a armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Benjamin Franklin

A GOVERNMENT OF WOLVES:

If government violates your right to own and carry firearms. Then they are violating your right to self-defense. It is almost impossible to defend yourself, your property, and your rights from armed people when you are unarmed. Once your unarmed, government will have no problem violating the rest of your rights.

Unarmed people are like sheep, and a nation of sheep will end up with a government of wolves.

FREE PEOPLE ARE ARMED PEOPLE:

Free people have the right to defend themselves, slaves do not have rights.

Free people who allow themselves to be unarmed will not remain free for long.

Unarmed people, can only flee from evil. And evil is not overcome by fleeing from it.

FREEDOM:

Freedom is the ability to exercise your will within your individual rights without the threat of force from anyone else. If somebody is forcing their will on us, clearly, we are not free. Freedom is not just an ideal state of society, but a moral code for respecting the individual rights of others.

Because you own yourself, it is wrong for someone to initiate force against you or your property. Acceptance of this simple fact is the foundation of a free and peaceful society. This nonaggression principle applies to everyone, and it is therefore wrong for someone to harm you, steal from you, threaten you, or violate your individual rights.

Freedom - Adam Kokesh

INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS:

Individual rights are rights we are all born with and no one can legally take away from us.

- The right to privacy - No one has the right to violate my privacy.

- The right to liberty - I can do what I want, as long as I do not violate the rights of others.

- The right to free speech - I can communicate my opinions and ideas without fear of government retaliation or censorship.

- The right to self-ownership - I own myself. No one can claim even partial ownership over me without violating my freedom.

- The right to self-defense - I can defend myself, my property, and my individual rights.

- The right to own and carry weapons - So I have the ability to defend myself, my property, and my rights.

Any law that violates our rights is null and void. Anyone that violates our rights is a criminal.

LIFE IS BETTER WITH FREEDOM:

Our freedom is based on the individual rights that all people have.

The best way to ensure respect for our individual rights is to respect the individual rights of others.

It is our duty as human beings to not only defend our individual rights but to also defend the individual rights of others.

By defending the individual rights of others your helping to protect your own individual rights.

It is important to defend our individual rights because that is how we protect our freedom.

LAWS SHOULD NOT VIOLATE OUR INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS:

During the war for Independence, Americans overthrew the government for violating our individual rights. If we have the right to do something and the law says you can't do it, we still have the right to do it. We have no moral obligation to obey any law that violates our rights. We have a moral obligation to honor and recognize the individual rights of every human being that lives on this planet. No matter what the law says.

THE REVOLUTION CONTINUES:

In 1776 the Declaration of Independence condemned authoritarian power and empowered the individual. It argued that all people were created equal. That all people have individual rights. That our individual rights can not be taken away from us. That government power came from the consent of the governed. That government could not tax us without our consent. That the main purpose of government was to help secure our individual rights. When government violates our individual rights it becomes our duty to take away the governments right to govern.

But the revolution is not over. As long as some people claim the right to rule and others claim the right to be free, the revolution will continue. Final victory comes when people embrace the principles of true equality, non-aggression, self-ownership, and voluntarism. That is when people will truly be ready to be free.

The Revolution Continues

VOLUNTARISM:

Interactions between people should be voluntary and free of force, fraud, and threats.

NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO:

- No one has the right to rob me.
- No one has the right to harm me.
- No one has the right to threaten me.
- No one has the right to violate my rights.

LIBERTY IS NOT A BATTLE:

Liberty is not a battle that requires the conversion of others in order to win. Liberty is won when you accept the fact that you own yourself, that you have individual rights, and no one has the right to violate your individual rights. When you accept that you are liberated.

VIOLATION OF FREEDOM:

A violation of freedom is an attack on a person by harming them, stealing from them, threatening them, or violating there individual rights.

THE PRICE OF FREEDOM:

There will always be people who try to violate our freedom. To remain free we have to be willing to defend our freedom.

That is the price of freedom.

THE FIGHT FOR FREEDOM NEVER ENDS:

Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation.
- Ronald Reagan

PRINCIPLES OF FREEDOM:

1 - All people are born free, created equal, and have individual rights.

2 - Interactions between people should be voluntary and free of force, fraud, and threats.

3 - People have the right to self-ownership. Taxing you without your consent under the threat of force is robbery and is a violation of your rights.

4 - People have the right to carry weapons to defend themselves, there property, and there rights. We never have an obligation to let anyone commit aggression against us. No one has the right to harm you, steal from you, threaten you, or violate your rights.

5 - We have the right to seek leaders for ourselves but we have no right to force rulers on others. No matter how leaders are selected they are only human beings and they have no rights or claims that are higher then those of any other human. No one has the right to murder, enslave, or to steal. We can not give people any rights that we do not have ourselves.

6 - To help secure our individual rights, governments may be created, deriving their powers from the consent of the governed. Whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter it, abolish it, or withdraw there consent to be governed.

7 - A society built on freedom is based on the individual rights that all people have.

THE FREEDOM SOLUTION:

There are two kinds of people. People who prefer big government (statists) and people who prefer freedom. Statists want government to have a great deal of power over the economy and individual behavior. People who prefer freedom, want to have a great deal of control over there own lives.

We should just let each group live the way they want too. If your a person who prefers freedom then you can have all the freedom you want, as long as you do not violate the rights of others. If your a person who prefers statism then you can have all the government you want, as long as you do not violate the rights of others.

Freedom means that you get to decide how you live your life.

VOTE FOR FREEDOM:

Vote for freedom by not electing anyone to rule and rob you.

People can seek leaders for themselves but they have no right to force rulers on me. No one has the right to violate my freedom.

People can pay taxes if they want but they have no right to force taxes on me. No one has the right to rob me.

I own myself. I can live my life and spend my money as I see fit.
