Freedom matters

Taxpayers are fleeing New York in droves

New York's population is still growing because of immigration, but many residents are leaving for other states because of high property taxes, a lack of business opportunities, and unaffordable homes.

TAXATION IS THEFT (Short Version):

If someone takes your money without your consent, it is theft. If someone takes your money without your consent and calls it taxes, it is still theft.

TAXATION IS THEFT (Long Version):

Taxation is no different then a mafia protection racket. Where that gang claims to be protecting you but that same gang will harm you if you do not pay up. To steal the money that someone has earned. Is to steal his productivity, his time, and his effort. Which is the same as stealing part of his life. To steal part of a persons life is slavery.

Imagine getting a bill from a private business. For services you never asked for and may have never wanted. Imagine that if you do not pay whatever price this business decides. They can empty out your bank account, seize your assets, and throw you in prison. Now if any private business tried to do something like that they can end up going to prison because that would be theft. But for some reason if the government does the same exact thing. It is OK and it is called taxation.

Taxation deprives people of the money they earned, stealing there buying power, reducing there ability to provide for themselves and there families, and making them less able to support things that they care about. Taxation also forces people to fund things that go against there wishes. That conflict with there own values.

Government does not produce any wealth. What it spends it must first steal from the productive people through taxation, fines, civil forfeiture, or the hidden tax known as inflation. We are forced to pay for everything government spends money on including the IRS agents that rob us. Everything of value is created by the productive people and the political class can only steal and destroy. In short the good people have always supported the evil people and will continue to do so as long as they believe that they have an obligation to obey these crooks.

Politicians pretend to be serving you and representing you. But the politicians true attitude is obvious. They don't care what you want and they believe that they have more of a right then you on how the money you earn should be spent. By portraying mass robbery (taxation) as the people paying there fair share of the cost of society. Thieves who have legalized there theft, can convince there victims to be proud of having been robbed and to resent anyone who was not robbed. This is just another example of how politicians use the tactic of divide and conquer to keep the people at war with each other. So they do not identify the real root of the problem. Which is government and the politicians who seek to rule and rob us.

If someone takes your money without your consent, it is theft. If someone takes your money without your consent and calls it taxes, it is still theft.

DOES ANYONE HAVE THE RIGHT TO ROB ME:

Can you delegate to another human being a right that you do not have?
Can two people delegate a right to a human being that neither of them have?
Can seven million people delegate a right to a human being that none of them have?
Can someone delegate the right to steal my money to government?
Can seven million people delegate to government the right to steal my money?
Can anyone in government have a right that I do not have?

People can not give away rights that they do not have, therefore government can not have rights that I do not have.

WRONG IS WRONG, NO MATTER WHO DOES IT:

No matter how government employees are selected they are only human beings and they have no rights or claims that are higher then those of any other human. No one has the right to harm you, steal from you, threaten you, or violate your rights. We can not give people any rights that we do not have ourselves. Government should never be able to do anything you can't do. If something is wrong for you to do, it should also be wrong for government to do. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it.

VOLUNTARISM:

Interactions between people should be voluntary and free of force, fraud, and threats.

FREEDOM:

Freedom is the ability to exercise your will within your individual rights without the threat of force from anyone else. If somebody is forcing their will on us, clearly, we are not free. Freedom is not just an ideal state of society, but a moral code for respecting the individual rights of others.

Because you own yourself, it is wrong for someone to initiate force against you or your property. Acceptance of this simple fact is the foundation of a free and peaceful society. This nonaggression principle applies to everyone, and it is therefore wrong for someone to harm you, steal from you, threaten you, or violate your individual rights.

Freedom - Adam Kokesh

VIOLATION OF FREEDOM:

A violation of freedom is an attack on a person by harming them, stealing from them, threatening them, or violating there individual rights.

INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS:

- The right to liberty - I can do what I want, as long as I do not violate the freedom of others.
- The right to self-defense - I can defend myself, my property, and my individual rights.
- The right to own and carry weapons - So I have the ability to defend myself, my property, and my rights.
- The right to self-ownership - I own myself. No one can claim even partial ownership over me without violating my freedom.
- The right to free speech - I can communicate my opinions and ideas without fear of government retaliation or censorship.
- The right to privacy - No one has the right to violate my privacy.

THE REVOLUTION CONTINUES:

The Declaration of Independence condemned authoritarian power and empowered the individual. It argued that all people were created equal. That all people have individual rights. That our individual rights can not be taken away from us. That government power came from the consent of the governed. That government could not tax us without our consent. That the main purpose of government was to help secure our individual rights. When government violates our individual rights it becomes our duty to take away the governments right to govern.

But the revolution is not over. As long as some people claim the right to rule and others claim the right to be free, the revolution will continue. Final victory comes when people embrace the principles of true equality, non-aggression, self-ownership, and voluntarism. That is when people will truly be ready to be free.

The Revolution Continues

LAWS SHOULD NOT VIOLATE OUR RIGHTS:

In 1776, Americans overthrew the government for violating our individual rights. If we have the right to do something and the law says you can't do it, we still have the right to do it. We have no moral obligation to obey any law that violates our rights. We have a moral obligation to honor and recognize the individual rights of every human being that lives on this planet. No matter what the law says.

NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT:

- No one has the right to rob me.
- No one has the right to harm me.
- No one has the right to threaten me.
- No one has the right to violate my rights.
- No one has the right to violate my freedom.

LIBERTY IS NOT A BATTLE:

Liberty is not a battle that requires the conversion of others in order to win. Liberty is won when you accept the fact that you own yourself, that you have individual rights, and no one has the right to violate your individual rights. When you accept that you are liberated.

DECLARATION OF FREEDOM:

- All people are born free, created equal, and have individual rights.
- Interactions between people should be voluntary and free of force, fraud, and threats.
- We never have an obligation to let anyone violate our freedom.

THE FREEDOM SOLUTION:

There are two kinds of people. People who prefer big government (statists) and people who prefer freedom.
If your a person who prefers statism then you can have all the government you want, as long as you do not violate the rights of others.
If your a person who prefers freedom then you can have all the freedom you want, as long as you do not violate the rights of others.
Freedom means that people get to decide for themselves how they want to live.

VOTE FOR FREEDOM:

Vote for freedom by not electing anyone to rule and rob you.
People can seek leaders for themselves but they have no right to force rulers on me. No one has the right to violate my freedom.
People can pay taxes if they want but they have no right to force taxes on me. No one has the right to rob me.
I own myself. I can live my life and spend my money as I see fit.
