Freedom matters
Indian rape survivor raped again by same five men
Indian Governments Rape Prevention Wristwatch
A poor 20 year old college student was gang raped by five men and they were arrested but let out of jail on bail. The rapists offered the victim $75,000 dollars to drop the case, which is a lot of money in India where the average yearly income is only $1,500 dollars. But the victim turned down the money. She said she does not want money, she wants justice. This upset the five men who raped her. The rapists felt that it was a fair offer for being gang raped and they were upset she turned down the money so they decide to teach her a lesson by gang raping her again by dragging her off the sidewalk into the bushes. They left her for dead but she survived.
Gang rape in India is a big problem because of the culture and the way they view women. The Indian government does not allow its citizens to carry guns to defend themselves from criminals. So the government has come up with other ways to deter rapists. One of the ways is that they will make the rapist stand in public with a sign around his neck that says rapist to embarrass them to stop raping women.
The government has also been telling women to carry whistles with them so when a bunch of men start gang raping them they can blow the whistle and scare off the rapists. The government also came up with a rape prevention wrist watch. When a women starts getting gang raped she could start recording her gang rape with the watch. I'm not sure how that watch is suppose to stop the gang rape but that is one of the governments solutions to the rape problem.
MY ANALYSIS:
A whistle or a watch is unlikely to deter a gang rape. The best defense for a young lady would be a gun. A gun is a great equalizer. A gun would be a more effective tool against gang rape then a whistle or a watch. If your not a slave, then you have the right to defend yourself. Buy a gun. Unarmed people, can only flee from evil. And evil is not overcome by fleeing from it.
CITIZENS DUTY:
If government violates your right to own and carry weapons. Then they are violating your right to self-defense. It is almost impossible to defend your life, liberty, and property when you are unarmed.
When government takes away citizens right to bear arms it becomes the citizens duty to take away the governments right to govern.
- George Washington
DECLARATION OF FREEDOM:
- All people are born free, created equal, and have individual rights.
- We never have an obligation to let anyone commit aggression against us.
- Interactions between people should be voluntary and free of force, fraud, theft, and threats.
NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT:
- No one has the right to rob you.
- No one has the right to harm you.
- No one has the right to threaten you.
- No one has the right to violate your rights.
- No one has the right to violate your freedom.
INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS:
- The right to liberty - We can do what we want, as long as we do not violate the freedom of others.
- The right to self-defense - We can defend our life, liberty, and property.
- The right to own and carry weapons - So we have the ability to defend our life, liberty, and property.
- The right to self-ownership - We own ourselves. No one can claim even partial ownership over you without violating your freedom.
- The right to free speech - We can communicate our opinions and ideas without fear of government retaliation or censorship.
- The right to privacy - No one has the right to violate our privacy.
FREEDOM:
Freedom is the ability to exercise your will within your rights without the threat of force from anyone else.
VIOLATION OF FREEDOM:
A violation of freedom is an attack on a person by harming them, threatening them, stealing from them, or violating there individual rights. Because we own ourselves, it is wrong for someone to initiate force against us or our property. Any law that violates our freedom is null and void. Anyone that violates our freedom is a criminal.
LIBERTY IS NOT A BATTLE:
Liberty is not a battle that requires the conversion of others in order to win. Liberty is won when you accept the fact that you own yourself and no one has the right to violate your freedom. When you accept that you are liberated.
TAXATION IS THEFT:
Theft - someone takes your money or property without your permission or consent.
Taxation without consent is theft.
TAXATION IS SLAVERY:
To steal the money that you earned, is to steal your productivity, your time, and your effort. Which is the same as stealing part of your life. To steal part of your life is slavery.
VOTING:
No one has the right to vote away your freedom.
DEMOCRACY VS FREEDOM:
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch. Freedom is a armed sheep contesting the vote.
TYRANNY:
When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear
arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
- Thomas Jefferson
FREE PEOPLE ARE ARMED PEOPLE:
Free people have the right to defend themselves, slaves do not have rights. Free people who allow themselves to be unarmed will not remain free for long.
THE FIGHT FOR FREEDOM NEVER ENDS:
Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each
generation.
- Ronald Reagan
THE PRICE OF FREEDOM:
There will always be criminals who try to violate our freedom. To remain free we have to be willing and able to defend our freedom. That is the price of freedom.
VOTE FOR FREEDOM:
People can seek leaders for themselves but they have no right to force rulers on you. No one has the right to violate your freedom.
People can pay taxes if they want but they have no right to force taxes on you. No one has the right to rob you.
Vote for freedom by not electing anyone to rule and rob you. You own yourself. You can live your life and spend your money as you see fit.
